I was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland. My first visual impression would have been the interesting lines and arches of our historic Federal style residence filled with eclectic patterns from oriental rugs and fine art, or the sweeping vista of the Chesapeake Bay and the surrounding farmland from atop our hillside home. I was brought into a life of structure, form, beauty, history, and charm. I have spent the last fifty years of my life processing, reimagining, and utilizing my early impressions in pursuit of art, expressed photographically.   I have spent the last months reviewing the many thousands of images I have created over my lifetime as an artist. My hope is to preserve and share the work that stands out as my favorite.   There is little that I have not done, or tried, over my long career as an artist, and there are some final resting thoughts about how I approach my work. I love that photography is the perfect blend of art and physics. Further, I value and celebrate the essential importance of light. In my professional relationship to my art, visual communication and problem solving is paramount. This has required me to apply myself intellectually, but I have discovered that my best work is from my heart.     While I am classically trained in photography as art and science, over the course of my life and my maturation as a man, I have ultimately realized that I am a spiritual being, and my work is an outward expression of God in my life.   Ultimately, his retrospective portfolio is the portrayal of a beautiful life. Every Image was taken for a reason, and none were accidental, or mistaken. The images cover over 50 years of shooting and reflects my personal expression and discovery.   The significance of this portfolio is only that it is mine.   -Jeremy Green Austin, TX  2022
